A day at Immaculata
Small group classes and a steady routine help little ones feel safe and ready to learn. Here is what a typical day looks like, Monday through Friday.
- 7:00 am
Doors open
Center opens for the day.
- 7:15 – 8:15
Arrivals & breakfast
Children settle in with a warm breakfast.
- 8:15 – 8:30
Get ready for class
Wash up and gather with their class.
- 8:30 – 9:00
Morning prayer
Prayer, the Pledge and group talk.
- 9:00 – 10:30
Lessons
Creative Curriculum® and Little Saints lessons, sometimes held outdoors.
- 10:30 – 11:45
Lunch & the Angelus
Wash up, lunch together and pray the Angelus.
- 11:45 – 1:45
Nap time
Rest time, with a quiet chant song.
- 1:45 – 2:15
Wake up & freshen up
Toilet, clean up and grooming.
- 2:15 – 3:15
Snack
Afternoon snack together. On select days, preschoolers help prep it in a small cooking class.
- 3:15 – 4:30
Play time
Outdoor play, or indoor play when the weather doesn't cooperate.
- 4:30 – 5:00
Table activities
Quiet table activities and toilet time.
- 5:00 – 5:30
Pick-up & closing prayer
Departures, and we close the day in prayer.
Infants follow their own feeding and nap schedule, and toddlers and preschoolers follow this daily rhythm. Parents get real-time updates in Brightwheel throughout the day.
